01 — Service overview
A dog changes the arithmetic of a site. One handler and one dog can sweep a perimeter in the time it takes two officers to walk half of it, and the presence alone ends most situations before they begin — people who will argue with an officer rarely argue with a dog.
MavCo supplies K9 units with licensed handlers for construction sites, vacant property, events and night-time patrols. The handler holds the SIA licence the role requires; the dog is trained and health-checked, and the pairing works together rather than being assembled on the day.
