01 — Service overview
Events have two K9 problems and they are different. Before doors, it is search: sweeping a venue or site quickly enough that the schedule survives. During and after, it is ground: a perimeter far too long for the number of officers on it, overnight, with a lot of value sitting inside.
MavCo Event K9 covers both, with licensed handlers working to the event plan rather than alongside it. Handlers sit on the same radio net as stewarding and security, so a find or a sighting reaches control immediately.
