01 — Service overview
Production is everything the audience sees and stands on, plus a great deal they never notice. Staging and rigging, power distribution, lighting and sound, fencing and barriers, cabins and welfare — and the schedule that gets all of it onto a site and off again in the right order.
It is also where events most often lose time. A generator that arrives before the cable, a stage that cannot be built because the forklift is on the other side of a locked gate. We manage the build as a sequence rather than a list, and we hold the gate keys because our own security is already on site.
02 — What we provide
/01
Stage, structures and rigging specified for the load, the site and the weather it will actually meet.
/02
Enough power in the right places, with the redundancy that keeps a show running when something fails.
/03
Technical production specified to the room or the field, and tested before doors rather than during.
/04
The unglamorous half — fencing, barriers, cabins, welfare and signage that make a field into a venue.
/05
The order of operations, so that each trade can actually work when it arrives.
/06
A build site is a construction site until the moment it is an event. We treat it that way.
03 — Why MavCo
/01
During build your event is a construction site, and we apply construction-site discipline to it.
/02
The build programme is an order of operations, which is why trades are not standing around waiting for each other.
/03
Overnight cover, gate control and compound security come from within MavCo, so the build is protected from day one.
/04
Power and critical systems are specified with a failure in mind, because they do fail.
/05
Technical rehearsal happens with time to fix what it finds, not fifteen minutes before opening.
/06
De-rig and site clearance are scheduled work with a deadline, not whatever happens after everyone goes home.
